Turning Points Essay Contest May 2018
Runway

In March, my teacher gave us the option to enter an essay contest based aaround the prompt of a turning point. There was, however, a catch. It was due that same evening. So, I go home and write an essay in 2 hours before submitting. I sort of forgot about it after that.

Low and behold, a month-ish later, I'm told I won the entire thing. You can imagine my shock... But anywho, I attended an award banquet, recited my essay, got my plaque, and here I am. Hope you enjoy reading "Newfound Light" :)
